How To Make Your Website A Lead Machine

Does your website create a daily flood of leads into your business?
If you’re like most business owners, disappointed with the quantity or quality of the leads your website produces – now is the time to act.
Some simple changes such as…
- What information you present ‘above the fold’
- Having an attractive ‘ethical bribe’ in return for a visitor’s contact details
- And including a professional and engaging video…
…can give you some instant “quick wins” when it comes to acquiring new leads.
Talking of video, it has now truly cemented its place as one of the biggest engagement tools available.
With YouTube and other video streaming services online, now your website visitors expect a much more multimedia experience.
Video is an excellent way to showcase the benefits of your products and services, and can be both simple and cheap to put in place.
Your website needs to have a professional design so that visitors have a sense of your positioning and credibility.
This does not mean you have to spend a fortune on getting a web designer involved.
Even though I’m a big advocate of outsourcing the non-critical business growth work to someone else, it is important that you know what you want.
Don’t be led astray by a non-marketing savvy web designer.
There are many low-cost tools that allow you to create professional looking websites, without the need for extensive technical knowledge, or a bulging wallet.
Tip: Check out Thrive Themes – A great tool for building marketing savvy websites. Also, it’s extremely affordable!
Think of your website as a collection of individual webpages.
Each webpage needs to do the job of ‘selling’ whatever it is you want the visitor to do next.
You have very little control over what page a web visitor will land on within your website, so you need to make sure you include the basic elements of your selling proposition.
Include as many reasons for someone to give you their contact details once they arrive at your website.
You can usually achieve this by giving away valuable information through either video, a free report or some form of download.
This will increase the chances of you being able to follow-up with your prospect, even if they don’t buy from you on first contact.
