Whitelisting Emails Guide

What does ‘whitelisting’ mean?
Noun: A list of people or things considered to be acceptable or trustworthy.
Verb: Add to a list of people or things considered trustworthy.
As I’m sure you’re aware, lots of email and internet companies use programs to block ‘unwanted’ email. And that’s great… The problem is, sometimes these ‘programs’ block emails that you’d actually like to receive.
So, to make sure you receive our emails (and any others you’d like to whitelist), all you have to do is follow the steps below:
Outlook 2003 & Later
1. Right-click on the message in your inbox.
2. Select “Junk E-mail” from the menu.
3. Click “Add Sender to Safe Senders List”.
Gmail
1. In your inbox, locate an email from @cloudplusit.com.
2. Simply drag this email to the “primary” tab of your inbox.
3. You’ll see that emails from us will go into your primary folder in the future!
Yahoo!
1. Open an email from us on your desktop, then a “+” symbol should appear next to ‘From:’and the sender’s name (e.g. Jake Taylor).
2. Click on the “+” symbol and an “Add to contacts” pop-up should appear.
3. Select “Save”.
Mac Mail
1. Select “Mail” and “Preferences” from the top menu.
2. In the “Preferences” window, click the “Rules” icon.
3. Click the “Add Rule” button.
4. In the “Rules” window, type a name for your rule in the “Description” field.
5. Use the following settings: “If any of the following conditions are met: From Contains”.
6. Type the sender’s email address in the text field beside “Contains”.
7. Select “Move Message” and “Inbox” from the drop-down menus. Click “Ok” to save.
